Life has just been in the way lately. At a crossroads with the car on whether I continue on the body work myself and drag the project out longer, or just take it to a the paint shop and let them finish the blocking and do the final paint.

Take it to the shop and enjoy the results of your years of labor.

Did about 3 hours of rough blocking work on the car tonight. Roof, and driverside doors. Just leveling everything to provide a base for the shop to finish the rest. Jim came by on his way home to Phoenix to inspect the progress. Last time he saw it not of the rust repair or body work had done.

The pic looks bit odd because of all the camera flash refecting off all the dust in the air

Good to see you back on the saddle Kev.
It will be a great feeling (Miller Time!)when you have it back in the garage after paint.

Not at the wet sanding stage yet. Still doing all the rough blocking to find the high and low spots.

Not so much worried about cleaning up the garage, but all that dust has gotta be hard on the old respiratory system.
Maybe it's too late, but you might wanna consider building one of these: woodworkingseminars.com/wp-content/ShopAirFilter.pdf

What is your criteria for when the "rough blocking" (rough sanding with a block) is done? IMO, doors (Gen-2 Firebirds with very LOOONNNGG doors) are the worst. Craig
