Roger,
for the link. Over 200 photos giving a great spread of Packards of different eras from show and restored to everyday drivers and original survivors as well as Ross's Trevoux Replica and a Packup. Gives a glimpse into how great an event it is and acts as an incentive to include a visit to the PPG as part of my next trip to the US.

Obviously, those photos are from Monday - Picnic at the PPG and the "Ladies of Packard" presentation.
Our three guest speakers were: MaryEllen Dohrs: Designer of the "Posture-Perfect" seats for the 1955 Caribbeans. Fran Hale: Secretary to President Hugh Ferry - she told stories of what happened on "Mahogany Row." Margaret Dunning: World's Oldest Packard Driver - well, actually she was 102 years and 363 days old when she was at the PPG. Last night Margaret turned 103 years old and we celebrated her birthday with her in the middle of the Detroit River aboard two dinner cruise boats. The two boats trailed one another, but when the skippers found out she was on board they came along side of one another and nearly 300 people sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Later, Margaret climbed up three levels to the wheel house where the skipper asked her to drive the boat along the Canadian shore line. Photos later. Today is Judging Day, got to go.

This was my first Packard national and it was fantastic. Roger and the crew did a great job.I saw the Packard plant and the proving grounds as well as some great cars. I drove by the sight of the Utica engine plant but it was just a pile of rubble now.
