Got the rest of the perimeter weather stripping installed on all if the doors. The door I did yesterday is finally starting to close a bit easier. So I think the seals are starting to compress. Which is good, because my wife thought I was upset about something with all the door slamming that was happening!

Got the upper and side windshield stainless installed. Pretty easy actually even with no help. Using a piece of 18ga wire, a cotter pin tool, and some undiluted dish soap I was able to feel the wire into the channel for the trim.
Once the wire was in, I used metal rod to center locate the top trim in the mounting hole. This also helped hold the stainless so didnt need a helper. With the wire in the channel it opens in up enough that the stainless can easily be pushed up and into channel as the wire is pulled out. The process was repeated with the side trim. 20mins total and I had all three pieces installed. Also installed the corner trim and have the bottom trim ready to go. Still need to install the lock strips and then its onto the back window. I did prep the back window and installed the seal and put the wire in the channel. Weather was cooler this morning so took the time to installed the trunk divider that I made awhile back out of door panel material.
The in was time to untomb the seats and get them installed in the car. This was for two reasons. 1) I needed the floor space back pronto. 2) Now I have somewhere to sit while working on the interior stuff. These seats are original upholstery and came from '54 Super Clipper that Ross had. Rear seat is pristine, the front seat is good also, but shows a little wear from being 59 years old. Front seat is a challenge to installed by yourself, and I didnt want to scrape up the floor heater in the process, so I used a 2x4 as a rail to help slide the seat in. Even with the seat all the way back to fit me, there is still ample leg room. Also now this rear seat out of the Super has an armrest which the deluxe seats do not have. Once everything was in, I covered them with some "native american" seat covers to help keep them clean while I am working on stuff still. Also I dug out my fender protector since I will have some underhood work to do soon. With the seats in it was easy peazy to get the lock strips in the windshield and the rear window. Basically no tools needed. Just straight undiluted dish soap on the lock strip and can push it into the channel with your thumbs. Forget what the manual says, start at one corner of the bottom, and work it over to the other corner. Then cut it. Repeat on the top, and then the sides.
