We have pulled my wife's grandpa's 55 Clipper from the barn. I am looking for pictures of cars that have the GE paint scheme (ultramarine and moonstone). I have been searching pictures, I have the paint chips from the web, but it is hard to match a restored Packard to this blue.

Attached are some pictures of the car. In the picture of the dash you can see the two tone original color.

to PackardInfo, but sorry I can't help with your query. One of the friendly and experienced V8 guys may be able to though.

And I invite you to include your '55 Clipper Super in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo!

Don't know if this is your exact blue, but the attached is a faded photo of a 55 that I owned in the early 60's. It may give you an idea of a color combination. From memory seems like the inside was a bit darker than the outside.

Thanks for the pic! The blue on the top half is the correct color. I inspected the car again and found some paint that peeled and exposed the blue that is on top of yours. The difference is ours the blue is in the middle and a white on top. The picture helps a lot. Thank you.

Actual paint chip sets can be found on E-bay, some in very nice condition....for a reasonable price....
