The data plate on the driver side door post will have the paint and trim codes for 55-56 cars.

Looking at the 5588 roster, the Jay Leno car mentioned earlier, is code N, but now painted sold white. There aren't any code M on the roster I have.

The paint code for an all-white 56 Caribbean Convertible would look like this:

Maybe I did not clarify myself when I was looking for information.
The car is not all white. It is the 3 color with the dark blue at the bottom, the light blue strip in the center and the upper part of the car is a off white color.... sort of creamy white. I wanted to know if anyone knows the paint code for the white (off white creamy) color.
It is a convertible with a sort of tan top which I believe was the original shade.
By the way, I have seen pictures of Caribbean coupes and yes they are very rare. I think only made in 1956.
Anyway, any help on the white color code would be appreciated,
Walter

I believe the cream color in 55 was White Jade - PL5512.
In 56 it is Dover White - PL5612.
And Walt is correct, it is more a cream than refrigerator white.

Looking at the DuPont paint chips on The Packard Club, and this website, both whites had white, yellow, and black, but the 55 has red in it as well.

The 55 white looks like it has a green tint, and agree with Randy the 56 is a creamy white.

I bought my paint from Hibernia Auto Restoration and was well satisfied with the color. They said Dover White had gold in it and that is what gave it a creamy look.

Here is an all white 55 that is on The Packard Club website, and is for sale. It was originally white, red, and black.

I was a previous owner of 1084, "The White Cloud". I would like to see the restored car from Beard Brothers. Currently I own Sebastian, a 5699 tri-color, 1203. Thanks.
