Everyone back in the 30's knew of Sir Malcolm Campbell and the Bluebird. My mother liked the name so much that she named me after him. I was past 50 when I finally met another Malcolm and now count Mal Harris as a friend.
I didn't like the name as a youngster and most know me as Randy. Malcolm Campbell's son died in a jet boat accident on lake Ullswater.
