I question the "250" designation. Sedans were 200, 300, or 400 series; the 250 designation was reserved for the convertible and the 2-door hardtop (Mayfair).

I was surprised the seller was even aware of that arcane designation among Packard models. Perhaps because it has the 327 engine and teethy grille, he concluded that it has to be a 250.

Come to think of it, wonder why Packard didn't include a 250 sedan version with the 327, Senior grille and a hardtop-style interior plus other deluxe options as part of the package to fill out the series?

Yeah that's a 200 with the optional 300 engine, same thing as mine. Note the faucet valve to turn his heat on and off, high tech. The interior looks very similar to mine, seats have been redone to a solid color. I also see the windshield wiper motor is missing. All my reading on this site and elsewhere, I'm learning!
