Kev:

I am anxiously awaiting your posting of the 1945-41 Parts manual as I am in need of some parts numbers for my '41 Rollson. As previously promised, I have a 1940 110/120 Owner's Manual which I will glady send you for scanning. Could you be so kind as to resend me your mailing address via a PM? Thanks.

Dan,

My mailing address is in the Members section of the Directory. As soon as I get that parts manual I will get it scanned and posted. So far it has not arrived.

Thanks for your support!

Kevin:

I notice that you have a subcategory of this thread that refers to Parts and Accessories Lists (aka Parts Manual). Shouldn't that subcategory also exist in the Packard Articles section of this web site? I think it is a distinct category of literature and would be most helpful if it could be added. Easy for me to say, right?

Kevin, I don't know if it's uncommon or even wanted for your site, but a friend has loaned me a pristine copy of a September 1956 Studebaker-Packard booklet titled "Story of a Living Legend"; the back cover has a picture of the plant and the copy "With Every Tick of the Clock the Packard Legend Grows".

If you're interested in same, let me know.

Owen -

Did you mean September 1955?

That's what my example is dated. I thought we had one of those:

packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?66

Or, did they issue an updated edition in 1956?

Yes, I did. Sorry, fat fingers, small keys and old eyes.

Still, it's a very nice piece.

I will look into putting the Parts Manuals into their own category when I get back home. Still traveling at the moment, and my internet is a tad sketchy.

Thanks!

Just an update. Arriving back at my office today from my little mini vacation and I found that the post man had delivered the "1935-1941 Parts List" in my absence. I will attempt to get this scanned this evening (all 500+ pages of it). By the way this copy has a April 1, 1944 issue date, so should be pretty updated. I was not aware they were still issuing updates while the War was in progress.
