When I stated above that this kit is TOAST, I misspoke (to use a political euphemism). I meant that I do not forsee a CNC-based production run involving 50 or more units. Having my retired machinist produce two, three or four at a time is NO PROBLEM. If I have confirmed orders for two, let's say, then I usually order 3 or four.

As I read this thread, it appears that Jack needs one for a customer engine and GTO wants one for his 56 Pat. At present, I do not have any in stock, but I will be talking to my machinist later this weekend.

If you want a kit (adapter plate, hybrid drive shaft, brass gasket and attaching hardware), PM me. You can use PayPal or send me a MO or personal check. If you pay me, you WILL receive a kit out of the next production run.

My machinist will be in town for the Thanksgiving weekend. He has material on hand to make at least two kit adapter plates and drive shafts (I supply the rest).

If you want a kit out of this run, PM me to arrange payment. If I have $ in hand by the time he produces these parts, you will get a complete kit.

Now my potential customer has seen the ARP main studs I used in my Packard truck engine and wants them in his, too. I'll have to do a mock-up and see if there is any way to use your adapter with main studs. What do you think?

Craig.How much is the Kit?How much does the OLD's pump cost?I want to get a ball park figure so I can make a decisison.

Don't have any pictures yet and I am still getting a history of the car.I see that a picture of my 22nd series Custom Eight is already on the Websight under Packard pictures 1948.

So long as the main studs are not too long, there should not be any interference with the oil pump either.

The adapter itself bolts to the original oil pump holes in the main cap.

Looked on parts X-reference and did not see. Need oil pressure sender for 1956 V8 for idiot light guage, not the analog guage. Anyone know part number that works?
