Anyone have any helpful hints on assemblING the grill louvers? I have been fiddling with them for a whole day now. Took them off to chrome them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

34PackardRoadsta, who used to post here, did a grille on a '38 Eight Coupe. He remarked that it was an involved and complicated job to reassemble. You might PM him and see if he is still monitoring the site and can help.

34PackardRoadsta, Tom, started a blog here about Laurie's 1938 Club Coupe project but it doesn't contain detailed info. He also has a blog called Packard Paddock.

Thanks, Mal. I had forgotten about the blog on Laurie's Eight.

Thank you all. I was able to get it back together, took me two nights of tinkering with it. Haha. Just need to adjust it a bit and it's ready to go back in along with the new radiator. I think I found the easiest way to do ithis after trying a few different techniques.
