Well, the photo was taken just after one of our Florida cloudbursts while driving to my first show participation. As the first drops fell I quickly pulled over to see if my top would come down and by the time I managed that task I and the car was soaked and the rain had stopped. We then pulled into the bonus area (non-judging) of the AACA Winter Meet here in Naples and got the top down again and pulled the chairs out to relax a bit and someone suggested a picture. It was still dark and gloomy out so the colors don't shine but it was a pivotal moment in my dream of getting my first car back from my youth. I couldn't afford to keep fixing it back in the 50s and had to let it go for scrap. That action has been bothering me ever since and I had to fix it.

Here she is after a complete do-over as I'm picking her up from the shop. FINALLY.
