Perhaps some of you 22nd/23rd series people will remember this custom car which was featured in Robert Neal's book "Packard 1948-50". I followed with interest as it was auctioned this past weekend in Santa Monica Ca. It sold for $47,500.00 which seems like a very good deal to me for such a lovely "one off" car. HI JEFF; The STATION SADAN was built be a very good friend of mine and has been stored in my shop for the last 5 years, and it is what Packard should have done. If you are interested I can give you the history of the car.

you're right, looking back at the photos taken at the time I see they are captioned "Jon's '50 Woodie, undergoing restoration"

There were other Packards there which did belong to his mate. Sorry for the "senior" moment.
