Sadly the week of Hershey is the same week we are arriving. So won't work out this year. Maybe next year!

I didn't plan this but I'm on my way to Pennsylvania for business, looking at the map I'm only 80 miles away from Hershey! I'm trying to go there Wednesday afternoon, if business let me. I know a half a day is not enough but that's probably all I have.

Well I have my first Hershey experience! I've seen every booth (not). I met Ross at the packard club tent and that was the only PI member I've seen. Found some parts that I needed so life's good! There were a few nice packards in the car corral: 1936 120 convertible coupe, 1936 super 8 formal sedan, 1940 180 limousine, 1941 160 touring sedan. The 36 formal sedan was stunning (so was the asking price). To bad I couldn't stay till Saturday. Maybe next year.

Why did this 34 super 8 coupe go so cheap?

One thing I see are quite a few incorrect features under the hood that to someone wanting a correct car certainly don't show attention to detail during the restoration. That would make me want to examine the rest of the car quite carefully.
