Looking for info on outside door handle retainers. Thought I remembered that one of the Packard clubs had reproduced them but can't find any record of source. Anyone know of a reasonable source or workaround? Shouldn't make a difference but the vehicle is a 5560, 2 door Constellation.
Thanks,
John

The San Diego Region of Packards International has the reproductions.

Packards San Diego is the area that had them reproduced.packardsandiego.com/NewPriceList_01-06-13.htm No idea if Kanter, Max or Patrician Industries might have any.

I doubt you will find any good used. They tend to rust and become very brittle and break. NOS is probably a non starter but seem to recall packards1 (Patrician Industries ebay store) listed a few some time back. If you do find some NOS, expect they will be every bit as expensive as the repros.

San Diegos repros at one time claimed to be made of a non rusting material. San Diego also sells them on ebay and had some listed last week. Didn't see any today but didn't search very hard.

Good advice - I've used San Diego repros and they work fine.

If you have one of these apart, you would know that a work around would tax Steven Hawking. I got mine through Max.
Trying to recover a used one outside of the Desert is also pretty futile.

As far as I can recall, the door handle keepers are also side or door specific, to be safe add the info to your needs in order to get the right keeper. If this is incorrect please advise and I'll correct my thinking and post.

Packardguy53, You are correct-- there are 4 distinct pieces -- right and left and front and rear.

Thanks for the replies. Trying to get my parts needed list together. I knew they were door specific and fortunately mine is a 2 door, so that's a plus.
