Yes, they are the American Classic Radials (not made by, but distributed by Coker) 7.60Rx15. Free shipping when ordered through Summit.

The car is already much easier to steer and I can tell the speedo is much closer to accurate that it way before since these tires are way taller.

Here is what the tread pattern and side wall looks like. Hard to see in the garage right now.

Kev,

This is a great example of things going from bad to good. Father Packard couldn't be prouder of the work (& $$$$) you put into restoring your '54.

Great job!

Hi, What is the Packard color of your car in your signature? There are 3 Packard blues. My 53 Clipper is the dark blue, like yours...what color would that be?

My car is Metalichome Bikini Blue. The darker blue is Merdian Blue. Those are 1954 colors. Take a look at the 1953 Paint chips here on the website for the colors and names for the 1953 paints.

I'm finally getting around to sending the Wiper motor out to Ficken for repair.

So, they have this concept here in Chicagoland called weather and thunderstorms. This is far different from So. Calif where I only had climate.

So wipers have to be functional, as the weather here changes by the minute sometimes, and best-laid plans can get soggy quickly.

I didn't see the lightening & thunder, but other than that watched it twice.

One word evaluation is "Cute".

I had this in my notes somewhere, but for the life of me, I cannot locate it. Does some have a link or know the size of the flexible conduit that connects the between the heater/defroster outlet box and the dash defroster inlet. Not sure if this the same 51-54 or not.

So far not having this working has not been an issue, but with the weather here changing so frequently, I don't want to get caught with a fogged up windshield.
