Very nice turn out on a warm June day here in Chicagoland. Very eclectic mix of cars for local car show. There was an Auburn, a few Piece Arrows, a smattering of Packards, a gaggle of Studes, a couple of Crosleys and even a car from behind the Iron Curtain. Tom Malas won a 3rd place best of show trophy for his '31 Packard (pic below). I didn't take pics of all the muscle cars but took pics of all the earlier stuff.

There's also a Nash and a Hupmobile mixed in there. Probably one of the best mixture of cars I've seen at a car show in a long time.

Hi Kev
Thanks for the great pictures, what a fine variety of cars you had to enjoy. Much better than many shows here in Western New York beset with mostly performance-rods and muscle cars. Congratulations to Tom for his award and good on you Kev for showing how good and appealing the late Packards are. Of the rarities, in addition to the '29 Hupmobile and '37-'38 Nash Ambassador coupe, that red '61 Chrysler New Yorker convertible is a very scarce, low-production car. Steve

.....epigram time.....
Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive. |
