Any decent shop should be able to rebuild with your tanks or make a new one. in addition, there are a number of shops out there that specialize in it e.g. see #1, #2, or #3 for example. I am NOT recommending any of these as they were obtained using an internet search engine (DuckDuckGo.com as I refuse to use Google). I also hate Facebook and other social media crap.

I personally would get good tanks and do a re-core.

Enough political B.S. it's time to head to the garage as there are several Packards out there waiting to communicate their troubles to me.

At this point I ordered the old Bronco radiator mentioned in this thread. We'll see how it goes, at worst I'm out a tad over $100.

78 Ford Bronco
Carquest 433433 $144 A/O Sep 2016.

You also should change the thermostat housing water neck to one which points to the P-side, not straight ahead. I used some Chevy one that I found on ebay/amazon.

I've driven in the Summer in So.NV in 115F in stop/go traffic without any overheating.

I pondered the same thing...re-core, or switch to something different. But I didn't think it was worth it to save a few bucks, and possibly have cooling issues. I just got mine re-cored for $600. (Canadian dollars) The guys said the tanks were in unbelievable shape! Hopefully is lasts
