Hi,

I need the Door Latch Spring for my car. Does anyone have the exact spring for my year and model for sale?

Thanks

G'day Mike1970,
to PackardInfo.

Did you try the "usual suspects", ie Kanters and Max?

And, I invite you to include your '37 Super 8 in the Packard Owner's Registry.

Restoration Supply has several available and pictured in their catalog (page 46 as I recall), you might see if yours matches up to one of them.

Who made your latch? Packard used English & Mersick as their latch supplier from at least 1934 and back some years earlier, and perhaps later. If your latch is an E & M, it may use the same spring as my '34.

That IS the correct spring for the 1937 Super Eight and Twelve.
