This photo was posted by Alan M on the AACA Forum to identify the car. The gentleman was Alan M's wife's uncle. Here is his biography and photo, both with permission of the family.

"Charles S.(Buck)Huppmann was my uncle, born 24 Feb.1920 and killed in action on 23 Jan. 1944 on a bombing run over Burma. He flew 40 missions during the war and his orders to return home arrived the day after he was shot down. Buck was from Baltimore and one of nine children. He enlisted after two years of college at Johns Hopkins. I don't think there is any way that this Packard was his car but rather belonged to a friend while he was in flight school in Texas in 1941-42. Then again, it may just have been a car that he chose to pose in front of!"

We hope that Charles got to enjoy that fine '37 120 convertible on nice days. It is good to remember him now for his great service and sacrifice for our nation.

Steve

This should help, "Packard Ft Worth, Inc" is on the top of the building. The end of the building looks pushed out. These might have been dealer inventory.

Looks like a 160 from the script in the blow up pic.
