It is hard to produce some of these items with such a limited market. Many places to produce want a minimum order of items before they'll manufacture them.
How's Fred getting along, haven't been in touch with him for a while now?

According to another thread this placeautocityclassic.com/packard-gas-tanks/ is the actual mfg of the 51-6 tanks. Wonder if Kanter is speaking for them or if not, perhaps there is enough demand they would be interested in doing them -- or at least might have dimensions on tanks they already sell that they would share to see if something close could be made to fit or could be used with a minor fill pipe mod or similar.

Motor City Classics tanks were apparently made by/for them and have no relation to the tanks made by Kanter. For example, the notch on the filler lip of the Kanter tank isn't there on the Motor City tanks and apparently the mis-fit of the filler tube is also not there.
