Have you read the review of it on the Packard Bookshelf feature of this site?

It was the first book I purchased after I bought my '55 400. It is written from the point of the view of the car "Lucky Lady" and the trials and tribulations of being found, restored and the first few shows.
Its a good book, that can be read in a day. It has some useful information specific to '55 400 restoration. It is a good morale booster when you get tired of working so hard on the car and feeling like you are getting nowhere. It is relatively hard to find now, and notice amazon has it every once in awhile and they want a pretty penny for it.

G'day PackFan,
to PackardInfo. If you have a Packard I invite you to include it in the Owner Registry together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it.

Thanks Don. I did read the write up in the Bookshelf but I was curious if others who had read it had a review. It's $50 used and I wanted to do some due diligence first.
I do not as of yet own a Packard but I am considering it. Not a small investment to get into. My grandparents owned several in the 40's and 50's but I like the V8's the best. LOL TIA

$50 is not a lot for a book these days. I just paid $25 for 2 magazines (oww!)
Besides you could read it then sell it to someone else for $50 and it costs you nothing.
