1951 Ultramatic Throttle Valve Relay Rod

The throttle valve relay rod is rather stout and I doubt it would get bent except in extreme cases. What should be the length between the centers of the linkage holes at the opposite ends of the rod? The rod that came with my spare 1952 Ultramatic transmission measures approximately 30 5/8". Is the 1951 rod the same length? See image below.

Packard first detailed the rods in service counselor Vol 29 #4 and reprinted it with addition of 56 models in a couple of others. For convenience here is an early article. 23rd series had a completely different two piece rod arrangement.

It looks like 28 29/32". Can you confirm? What is the source document?

I believe so but the articles are all hard to read. Here is another mention from a later bulletin.
