I found a FRAM C134PL specified for the 1950 Custom Eight with 356 engine.

The C134PL is used on all 1948 through 1954 Packards but note that it is much smaller in diameter than the original.

Dyslexia strikes again. I’m at Ross Miller’s Speedwell Garage. The correct oil filter is 1080 not 4080. A costly mistake for me who drove a half hour in 91 degree traffic to get an equivalent to the Fram.
