Good Afternoon...Miss Prudence continues to cruise around our end of Arizona, running the daily chores, including picking up Grand Daughters and taking them to school, The Boys and Girls Club, and for workouts at Spooners. Even a lady walking along Via Linda gave her a big Thumbs Up this morning...Prudence gave her a honk of the horn... to say thank you. Ernie in Arizona

It's been a while since I posted on the Packard Trips...not much change, Miss Prudence continues to trundle around Scottsdale, Arizona...moving Grand Daughters from here to there! The summer 2022 is over and the old girl in running just fine. Time to schedule her annual oil change and filter change and a good lube job. That usually happens in the next town over, Fountain Hills, at Kelly's Automovive, where my friend Alex Alfaro works. Then to lunch around the corner at Georgie's and then the eight or so miles home...all is good. Miss Prudence will continue to be happy. Ernie in Arizona

Hi Mal...Miss Prudence has been in our garage for 10+ years now, so she is a member of the family. The neighbors even wave at her! A few have even had a ride in her...one neighbor says she is built just like his wife!...I did not touch that line...I just let it hang in mid air! How be things in your end of the world?

Good Morning all...Well it is cold enough in the desert for me and Miss Prudence. It's low 40's in the morning and low 60's in the afternoon. Prudence is back to running around our end of town two or three times a week. Today, she went to breakfast at Over Easy and this afternoon, she is going to take me for a haircut. She likes the colder weather and fires right up...especially if she is driven very other day or so...if she sits a week, then it takes four sets of four second cranks to move gas from the tank to the carb...the old girl is nothing if not predictable...there must be other Packards trundling around in other parts of the world that have to do a bit of work to earn their keep?? Ernie,

Good to see you're keeping Miss Prudence well exercised, and you're enjoying going with her.

Definitely...She does not like to be left in the garage when the other cars are coming and going...she begins to display a bad attitude!

Can’t have that! She needs to be taken out occasionally and treated like the lady she is by wining and dining her. In this case, probably oil and petrol would do.

Can't imagine that some other owners don't have their Packards out on the roads in the warmer parts of the world...perhaps Prudence is spoiled, do you think?

Sounds as though that’s the case but she does get more than some I know.
