In search of trunk retainer (Packards description) for both sides. This is a piece about 15" long that attaches to the trunk via rivets that holds the stainless steel trim moldings . Need both sides.

This is the item he is looking for. This is the 4 door sedan version and the same retainer is used for both sides 41 thru 47. It is riveted to the trunk lid edge to hold a short continuing piece of the belt molding. 2 door club sedans use a different piece but also the same for both sides.

You might clarify if this is for the 41 you have listed. Farther checking shows all 41-7 sedans use the same item on both sides but 42-47 club sedans need a different item -- also the same on both sides.

I'm meandering up/over to Packardville in 3 weeks, and I'll look to see if I have anything worth owning to spare.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

I have a few 41 clipper bumperettes front and rear. Can anyone use them?

G'day Kris M,
to PackardInfo.

If you have a complete Packard, ie not just bumperettes, I invite you to include it in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.
