Hi Kevin,

Sometimes wishes come true. Living near Austin, Texas, "Hershey" has always been the elusive, some day type of event.

Through a referral from West Peterson of the AACA's Antique Automobile, Helen V Hutchings approached me to attend the SAH's author signing/selling event at the SAH tent held behind the AACA Library on Tuesday, 10-3-23, from 2pm to 7pm.

I will be there, and am excited to be invited! I will sell/autograph my two current books:
FACTORY AIR: COOL CARS IN COOLER COMFORT, in paperback and hardcover
WHAT'S A TAILFIN, DADDY? in paperback

If I don't see you at the SAH tent on 10-3-23, I will be sure to visit you at the Packard tent. I copied your Green Field location.

I'll be driving down from Western New York either Tuesday or Wednesday dependent upon weather forecasts. Hoping the streak of good weather continues this year. I should be swinging by the PAC tent at various times. PM me if you'd like to put a face with the name...

Looking forward to seeing you at the SAH Book Signing on Tuesday. I will be picking up your new book on A/C.

I will be there as well with my two-volume biography on James J Nance. And, at the PAC tent on Wednesday through Friday (GAD-28 -- look for the yellow Packard Balloon) there will be a book signing as well. Along with my books, the new 70th Anniversary book on the history of the Packard Club (1953-2023) will be available, signed by the authors, Paul Delaney and Craig Handley.

I will be surely prowling around the various Packard areas most of the time , though this year I want to visit all 7 fields... last year I only did 3. I'll be there Thursday (hopefully arriving before 11) and Friday. I'll be bringing my box of window bushings and pawning off some spare windshields to Ross. Weather looks to be pretty good this year 🤞

I'll be wearing my Packard cap. Hope to meet as many people as possible.

Just a reminder, the Swapmeet runs Tues - Wed - Thurs. Friday is the carshow and the vendors I belive have to be off the field that day. I think most start breaking down Thursday night.

Speedwell Garage and Potomac Packard wiring will be at GAF 9-12. Look for the '53 flatbed truck!
