WANTED - Timing Chain and Tool

Hey all - I'm looking for a new or NOS timing chain for a 1950 Packard model 2302 with the 327. Part number is 333289. Chain is specific to 2201-02-11-20-22-32-40; 2301-02-32. I've tried the major vendors... either odd pricing or backorder. Curious if anyone out there has one to sell.

I do have new gears and seals ready to go. I was curious if anyone sells the aligning arbor (J-2572) for the crank front oil seal. Looks like a socket with a long keyway. Are these out there anywhere? Thanks, all!

That part number was used for many years and models.

Kev - in your experience, would I be better off just ordering a brand new chain, like this from Egge?

I can't relay any first hand info, but if they have new timing chains then buy it. It's probably the same supplier as that the other vendors use.

As noted, nothing particularly special about this chain. If Egge doesn't pan out, I should have one for you.

No need for an arbor. Tap your timing cover around till the gap around the crankshaft is as even as possible. A small drill bit can help as a gauge.
