Earlier this month, Parkers Packards, a restoration shop in Rutland, Massachusetts, hosted an event and there were a number of Packards there. Thought you would enjoy seeing some photos of the Packards.

Here a link to the shop's website.

These are truly wonderful cars. I don't want to highlight any of them. The ensemble is just as impressive as each individual vehicle. Thank you very much for the pictures.

Hi

Thanks for sharing the photos, must have been a fun event.

Just a note: the dark green 1940 180 convertible victoria credited to Bohman & Schwartz might be one of the Darrin-style convertible victorias built by Rollson. Demand for Darrins was such that those who did not wish to wait turned to other coach builders to make a version of the styling. While those cars generally carry the Darrin styling, there are some subtle differences which this car appears to have.

.....epigram time.....
Proud 1953 Clipper Deluxe owner. Thinking about my next Packard, want a Clipper Deluxe Eight, manual shift with overdrive.

I was wondering about that one too as I was fairly sure it wasn’t Bowman & Schwartz as it does not have the sweep of trim on the sides that they had and also I was under the impression that they first appeared in 1941. I could be wrong and it’s been known to (frequently) happen.

There was a maroon B&S custom at the 2023 Packard Club National in Northern California. Of course B&S made quite a few more custom changes over Darrin. The one at the 2023 PAC National had Cadillac parking light assemblies. It also had what look like Lincoln or Mercury headlights set into the front fenders, a dip on the convertible top side panel.... and a much more elaborate windshield frame. Yes, of course the B&S bright side sweep chrome.

I've known this particular B&S for many years. It was owned by my friend, Bill Snyder.
