Merci. Gauthier,

Hello, the screw is #8 x 3/4" oval head. I'm not sure how common American hardware will be in France. But the screw is not very important. Steele sells the weatherstripping piece, however I will be making some at some point for cheaper.

The key is a B1 same as an old GM car. It is easiest to remove the ignition switch, and make the key from that. Are the doors locked?

Hello, only the glove box and the trunk are locked (we managed to open the trunk by disassembling the back seat) . The keys have been lost, there are no ignition keys, doors, glove compartment and trunk trunk, thank you..

The glovebox and the trunk are the same key. The ignition and the door are the same key.

If you got the trunk open, then you should be able to get the lock out, and take that to locksmith to have a key made. Same goes for either the ignition or one of the door locks.

Since Kevin Packard has the same model car as you, he should be able to get you reference pictures of any thing you are missing. We know lots of good used parts vendors for post-war Packards and parts are fairly available.

A good front windshield will be hard to find. When the car is on the road, take it to a glass shop and see if they can help that crack.

The grommet on the dash is for the dimmer foot switch, by the way.

The side glass is flat and the same on each side. Remove the window and get a new one made at a local automobile glass shop.

The Literature Archive at left has the service manual. Instructions to remove the window are in the Body section.

Tucson Packards has the windshield for the hardtop and convertible but I imagine that shipping would be quite expensive over the already high price of the glass. The windshield for your car is different (lower) than the one on the sedans.

Like Don said, Tucson Packard has reproduction windshields now, which were not available when I did my car. Shipping would be incredibly expensive. But I found that you can take a windshield for a sedan and cut off an inch or two from the top edge and make it the same size as the hardtop windshield. In fact the windshield in my Panama was done this way. It will be far easier for you to find an intact windshield from a 1953-1954 sedan, and have a glass shop cut it.
