No idea. It is possible there is a mistake or it is possible they changed vendors and both are correct. To add to the confusion there is also a third version which I found in an aftermarket switch. It will probably come down to using an ohmmeter to verify which two are the normally closed pair and then using those two, hook it up with power on one or the other until you can figure which of the normally closed pair is the common that will work the other normally open contact when the pedal is pressed.

Oops! You were too fast for me! I found my answer just moments after posting so deleted my question before your reply appeared. In fact, you’re the one who answered it the last time too.

On the issue, I suspect that one was an error as I can’t imagine there being two different switches that were otherwise identical functionally.

Like the Stones said... paint it black.

Is there a West Coast Trico wiper rebuilder? I see none at all anywhere in the Directory to the left, not even Ficken who is in New York and a renowned Trico rebuilder.

Ficken bought all of Trico stock and patterns when they got out of the wiper motor business. They are the only game in town.

That's true but I didn't think it precluded anyone else from having the parts made and offering rebuilding. I know there used to be one in tiny Redmond, OR near my shop but they appear to be gone now. Incidentally, the last batch I had rebuilt years ago was done by Trico itself before Ficken bought them out and I still have a few as I sent in everything I could find from all of my cars and parts cars in one batch.
