Intéressant. Je n’avais pas entendu que la voiture de Marais pourrait été vendue à Piaf

Have others here heard of the Marais car being sold to Edith Piaf?

Hello,

Thank you for accepting me. I am French, I can read English quite well but neither speak nor write it.

In 1996/1998 I worked at the Rochetaillée museum (Musée Henri Malartre - City of Lyon) in order to carry out an exhaustive inventory and make a detailed study of all the vehicles. Of course the results of this work are the property of the museum, with which I no longer have any contact. However, I have very precise memories of many machines.

I no longer remember the paint and upholstery references that appear on the chassis plate of the Caribbean, but below is a photo of the car as it entered the Museum. It had been repainted shortly after this shot in the late 60s. When I studied it, the upholstery was entirely reversible in red and white, including the side trim and in the doors, thanks to "zip".

There were two Caribbeans at the museum at the same time and I don't know what happened to the other one.
