1940 Radio in a 1941 110?

Hello all,

I have the opportunity to get the radio, head, and speaker out of a 1940 Packard someone is stripping out to hot-rod, and I was hoping to install the radio in a 1941 110 Deluxe. Does anyone know if the 1940 radio will fit in a 1941 dash, or are they incompatible? I've been digging through the forums and literature archives, but haven't found a conclusive answer yet besides the 1941 car having been redesigned from the 1940 (suggesting incompatibility), and the 1941 radio part possibly being PA362575.

Thank you.

I looked into the sales brochures on this site and they look a lot different.
Here is the image of the 1940:

...and this is the 1941 brochure's image:

They do not look interchangeable to me.

Unfortunately the 1941 radio is entirely different and will not interchange. There were several different radios for 1940 and none will fit 1941.

The radio in a 1941 Packard is mounted behind the speaker grille on the dashboard. The radio of a 1940 is mounted on the firewall, and operated via the remote control.
