I have been trying to find an exploded view pic of this for my 4dr sedan to no avail.
I think there may be a spring under the lock cylinder that is missing...
Can anyone here provide it please?

I know of no such diagram and going from long past memories, I don’t recall a spring in the handle under the lock. Of course, my memories are from the ‘60s when I took mine apart to re-key it. The closest I have to look at now is one from a 1940 but it’s a totally different design although I can’t imagine the lock mechanism being much different.

I doubt one exists except if you were to get a copy of the factory drawing. Or convince someone to disassemble theirs.

If you have a unit at all, please photo several views of everything you have to get the discussion moving.

Well, it's 600+ miles away at my shop but I can try when I'm next there if I can get the lock tumbler out. I only just returned from three weeks there a few days after your original post so won't be going back for a couple months.
