I am pretty sure that is an inner fender, likely passenger side, not for a 37 120 that is for sure, but you can see the cut-out for the upper control arm and the clips that hold onto the long gone rubber piece that tried to keep the weather out of the engine compartment.
By the shape it looks like a later model car with flatter fenders like the 50's, not the big clam shells of the pre-war genre. Bob J.

It doesn't look like a Packard part that I have seen.

I agree that, while it appears to be an engine compartment shield, that it is not Packard. Whether prewar or postwar I don’t recall ever seeing one with square bends like that.

Those aren’t oil pans. They are splashes that go between the inner fender and the engine. I can’s say for sure whether they are Packard or not but they do not appear to be.

I don't know if it is just the quality of the picture, but the jagged edge does not look Packard, otherwise, if the edges are smooth, the top on looks like it might fit the 1938 Super-Eight. Probably the bottom one also. The big hole in the bottom one is for the breather pipe, the small hole on the top one is the drain for the radiator.
It would be helpful to have dimensions. Bob

The engine pans look a lot like my '37 120. Mine have louvers in the bottom portion. The earlier 120s may not have had the louvers. (Or they may be 110 pans)(Click on the picture to get rid of the jagged edges.)
