I picked up some Packard parts today and wondered if anyone could identify this part? It might not even be Packard!

Maybe engine heat shield

I am pretty sure that is an inner fender, likely passenger side, not for a 37 120 that is for sure, but you can see the cut-out for the upper control arm and the clips that hold onto the long gone rubber piece that tried to keep the weather out of the engine compartment.
By the shape it looks like a later model car with flatter fenders like the 50's, not the big clam shells of the pre-war genre.

It doesn't look like a Packard part that I have seen.

I agree that, while it appears to be an engine compartment shield, that it is not Packard. Whether prewar or postwar I don’t recall ever seeing one with square bends like that.

Those aren’t oil pans. They are splashes that go between the inner fender and the engine. I can’s say for sure whether they are Packard or not but they do not appear to be.
