These are not very exciting pictures, but what is exciting, is that you know you're nearing the end of a project once painting begins!

Those actually are exciting because they show how far it's come and the great work done to get it there. Congratulations!

Anyone know a good source for the webbing that goes on the fender skirt? Mine is not in bad shape, but I need to take it off to clean and paint the skirts. I'm tempted to reuse it because it's original, and exactly what I need, but still undecided.

Restoration Specialties has the anti squeak webbing but somewhere in the feeble memory there is a caution about thickness. I think to get the proper thickness it only came in a wider width. You needed to order that width and then cut it down to match the skirt web width. Been years but I think I was able to get both sides out of a single wider width length but won't swear that is still the case with what is available today. Do know that first trying to use the thicker webbing that was the correct width resulted in installation to the car issues because while skirt did go in it was forced and the increased gap and visible webbing was very distracting.

I have used 3/4' x 1/8" hood lace from Restoration Specialties with good results on 22nd series fender skirts in the past but their shipping is getting expensive.

Best to get it from Langley if possible.
