Exhaust Pipe Trim

Does anyone have an original exhaust pipe trim like this one pictured in the '53 Operator's Manual? I'm looking for more/better pictures and dimensions so I can attempt making a SS one. Were these made by Packard, or from a supplier?

Believe the extensions were the same 51-4 and here is a fairly decent photo out of the 51 accessory folder. Literature photos are not the best so I expect for anything better, someone will need to post a real photo of one they might have on their car.

Some years back Kanter had some of the extensions listed in their catalog. No idea if they had some NOS pieces or maybe had repros made but suppose those are long gone. With the ownership change, no idea what they might still have to offer but wouldn't hurt to inquire.

Most of the “reproductions” I’ve seen have a little Packard crest on them but I don’t think they had that originally. These were not made by Packard and were used on many makes of cars so as long as they are for the same size pipe and have the same shape, they’ll work and be original on your Packard too.

If the dealers don’t have one, do a search with notifications on eBay which is how I found my 1951 Henney-Packard’s siren.

It just occurred to me that possibly my 1954 Patrician parts car has a very rough one but I’m not sure and won’t know until I next at my shop. I know one of my parts cars did and this is the only parts car left but if it does have it, you’re welcome to it as a sample to make a better one.
