Do you mean the trim piece that is part of the grille but mounts on the fender?

My Car is a 1948 Packard Taxi Cab. I wonder if My car is one of the taxi cabs in the picture on this web site The car was purchase from a french guy from Montreal Canada.
He purchased the car from another guy from Montreal. This guy purchased several packard from New york City. The Picture you showed me was not my car.

the taxis were on the junior chassis, so the grille will be different, but there is a similar whisker extending from the parking light bezel "around the corner". is that what you are looking for? If your car looks completely different, it's not a 48 - 50 as the resemblance between years and models is pretty strong

THe Part is in that location that the picture showed but mine doesn't have the deluxe grill. I'll be posting a picture of the car soon. Hopefully someone can help me with the part
