Looks nice to me. And yeah, for a car in that shape, "originality" is often more of an ideal than best practice. Whatever gets it going and keeps you happy.
Same story on my Deluxe. While it's highly original, it's no show car, and if I need to throw some bolt-on parts on it to make something work, then so be it. Fuel and brake lines ran by hand, different fuel pump, 56 Ultramatic in it instead of 55, but the less desirable 320 engine instead of the 352, etc. Congrats on keeping it on the road.

Better on the road than in the crusher! What I don't like is when someone takes a nice survivor and chops it up.

Agreed, I have a 31 Ford roadster that was given to me when i was 16 years old, I guess now that im 60, i need to build it soon, LOL but to your point, i see people all the time buy a nice original model A.. (or any car for that matter) and cut it up, why not start with a scrapper, are they that afraid of rust???. Next in store for the 50 is some new hydraulic lifters... i have one that is playing a tune... it doesn't seem to be letting up with all the normal fixes... Thanks Paul

Did you make custom manifolds, or did you split the exhaust pipe into two? Would love to hear some good audio of your setup.
I have an extremely rough parts car that I kind of want to get running and throw a glass pack on for fun. The car is not worth restoring, but if I can get it on the road in all its ugliness I think it would be a lot of fun to drive.
