For the exhaust, I just went through it on a 1951 Henney-Packard and found that the tailpipe, to be properly done, requires several compound bends that no muffler shop can do. I have the pipe's blueprint but no one can make it although I ultimately sourced an NOS one and understand that they have another so PM me if you want to go that route and I’ll put you in touch. The original pipe was thinner than what's available today and slightly reduces the back-pressure for the very long run. The rear hanger is also specific to these cars and VERY hard to find (mine was missing) so if it’s still there, be sure it doesn’t get welded to the pipe and ruined! The pipes should all be clamped together rather than welded anyway which you need to tell a muffler shop as they want to weld everything.
As for the gas tank, you can buy a new one for a 1948-1950 which is identical except that it needs the fill and vent pipes shortened and the reproductions don’t have the fill-whistle on the vent. By 1953, the passenger cars no longer had the fill whistle but the Henneys still did have it. On mine, I etched the inside and sealed it myself but the sender in it is special to these coaches. They have the mounting flange of the 23rd series Packards but the functionality of the 1951-1956 gauges so mine was custom made. The rear shocks are special too so mine got an NOS pair. ![]()

You probably missed it because the VIN is entered incorrectly in the registry. Bloodmike can confirm but it should probably be entered 2613-2070 rather than 26162070. For 1953, all senior Henney-Packards have a VIN that begins with 2613.
P.S., BigKev, if you're reading this, the Henney-Packards had hydraulic lifters but the Packard Decoder shows solid.
