Does this car still exist? I don't believe I have ever seen any info on this concept car outside of a few pictures and a period advertisement.

Sothby’s sold it at auction in the fall of 2012 so clearly still around, or at least it was then. It sold for $80k. There are quite a few photos of it on this site in the Photo Archive.

Is that one owned my Ralph Marano? I know he owns several of the Packard concept cars.

As I understand it, the Pacifica wasn't actually a Packard concept car and, while the sources didn't specify, I suspect it was commissioned by Earle C. Anthony. It was a combination of sedan and Convertible body parts with a trunk lid that was based on a hood panel. In my personal opinion, with the top up it's downright ugly but looks nice with it down.

Thank you Don for your reply and providing the URL link. It appears from the website that the "Pacifica" sold was a re-creation and the original design was never executed by Packard. That answers my question.

Thanks again

The Pacifica, a wagon, and a very spiffy fastback were all commissioned by Karl Schneider at the turn of this century on contour car chassis. The Pacicfica and the fastback were sectioned, oh about 4" each.

There is a nice story in the Summer 2003 Cormorannt, and possibly in Collectible Automobile as well. Couldn't find that issue.
