Latest on the Motor Saga....

It finally went to the machine shop this week. At this point, having it available for any of the summer driver season isn't going to happen.

Which is ok, as I am far behind on the body work. We've had a hot and humid summer that started early in June and has been relentless. Yesterday was the first day we have been able to turn our A/C off in nearly 2 months. Since the garage door is south-facing, the afternoons have been brutal. Add in a huge AI project I've been leading at work, and I am nowhere close to where I wanted to be on the car at this point. So resolved to keep moving forward on the body work. All four fenders still require different levels of massaging to restore them to good condition.

Take it with the composure of a Jackard owner.
By the way, I only wished for air conditioning in the house on two or three days this year.

You need a little solar powered mini-split for your shop! I’m not sure if this is the one I was thinking of which was totally solar rather than hybrid but it’s the same general idea.
