but you must be missing part of 55-56

Thanks HH, you're right. It's not a reprint but an original factory issue and I never suspected that it might have been altered, but it goes from "Introduction" right to section IV, Brakes.

Sect 2 is air conditioning. Too bad your original manual sections must have been "borrowed".

Don,

I have a 41 Clipper. It had a radio and a broken roof antenna whren I bought it two years ago. A friend rebuilt the radio with help from a parts radio.

The roof antenna had the rotary shaft thru the roof but the antenna mast was broken off. I bought an antenna on eBay (probably a Buick style). The rotary shaft was too short to come thru the roof properly.

At PAC in Branson, Sandy of Tuscon Packard, took the old shaft and eBay antenna back to Tuscon and refitted them together. I now have a rotary antenna that works properly and looks like John's fabulous pictures.

(Lots of work and $$ for AM radio!)

I have the roof antenna, and the mast is broken off. I know it's expensive to have someone do it, but does anyone know what antenna fits?
