Welcome to the Site Afterglow. There are plenty of knowledgeable and experienced Packard people here who are more than willing to advise and assist.
Looks like you've got a solid basis for your project with everything in place. Wish you well with it. eBay is always a good source for parts while Max Merritt and Kanters are 2 suppliers, links below, who come to mind as Packard specialists although there are plenty more. maxmerrittauto.com/ kanter.com/ If you haven't already done so could you add your '50 to the Owner Registry please? And finally again BigKev can correct me, but you're probably our first member from the Philippines.

I think so. I do not know of any other members from the Phillippines or really Asia/South Pacific in general.

Thanks for the info. I'll add my name to the registry the moment I seal the deal.

When people heard that I was looking for a Packard, they started popping up everywhere. My buddy knows of two that I'm going to check out as well.

Any other info on the car I'm looking at?? Is the A/C a common option?

Hi Afterglow, very welcome from a new member as well. I already got some great help and friendliness on this forum!
Looks like a good car! I also have a 50 and man, you will be so happy when you hear that engine for the first time! Being from South Africa I can sympathize with you regarding parts. Our exchange rate is very bad so Kanter and the other guys are actually beyond my reach. Try the older car parts stores. I have one here in Johannesburg that could actually still supply a condensor! I have just won a bid on e-bay and will see how that works out. Ebay is more affordable and if you are lucky it actually seems to work well. My bodywork is also not 100% but that I can handle myself. It seems your car has very little rust and the chroming you can have done locally. The aircon seems to be an aftermarket item but seems to be period? I guess in your climate you need that! Here as well. By the way I converted to 12volt negative ground and replaced the light lenses with very good ones that we use here locally for 4x4 vehicles. Fits and work well and looks correct. The tires should not be a problem if you look at the newer sizes like P225/75R15. Hope you find your Packard soon!
