Hi,can anyone help me out?I'm looking for a rebuild kit for a (12 volt)Mag-Nu-Matic Vacuum washer pump,the internet is not helping me(guess I'm not looking in the right spot)Thanks for any help.Bill W

Also bought my rebuild kit from McVey, many years ago. Well-made kit.

Hey, not EVERYTHING can be found on the Internet, sometimes you've got to read magazines and club publications. McVey advertises regularly in Hemmings.

yeah, i didn't find Mcveys on a google search...so does anyone have their contact information.

Here's McVey's linkmcveys.com/ but not sure where they are now or if he still sells. Used to be under online store--miscellaneous but all I see there now are jars and lids.

McVey specializes in parts for Cadillacs, but some of them will also fit Packards and other makes. This brings up something interesting - it sometimes helps to go to other than Packard parts vendors for that item you are seeking. There is a Buick parts supplier that may have some common parts for Packard. Remember, Packard sourced many parts from suppliers who provided to many makes (e.g., Delco, Auto Lite, Carter, Rochester, AC, Trico, etc.). Something to keep in mind.

Good point. There were, in fact, many component parts commonly used on Packards back in the day that were common to other marques as well. Over fifty years after the fact however it is hard to cross-reference these parts. When and if you find any, please add them to the X-ref file.

The appropriate Hollander Exchange Manuals can be extremely helpful in some instances and in particular for the junior cars. A fair number of senior parts, I have found, were exclusive to senior Packards although, in rare instances and purely by accident, I have found that certain tractors and heavy equipment used some of these same parts.
