Hi Don. It was nice meeting you as well. I will need to look at the switch closer this week. As for the screws, yes those are the ones I am looking for. I need to get a count of how many I need.

The body parts went to the stripper this week. Should have them back in a couple of weeks then the body work begins. Fortunately its straight, most of the work is going involve correcting some bad rust repair from the previous 80s restoration. Color decision is pretty firm now.

Well the following pieces of the body have been stripped and are to be preped today for a protective coat of epoxy primer. Then the Metal work begins. The only real surprise was some of the lower body tub was a bit thinner and more plagued with holes that hoped for. Good news is most is still intact so reconstruction will not be as bad. The cowl, fenders, trunk and rumble seat are in good condition.

This has been the reason for delays of the Packard project. It now finished and was a success. Its located at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, Shreveport, LA

Phil

Great job making contemporary case work harmonize with an older building.

Do you have a spec list and maybe an mp3? I worked for George Bozeman for a short while in the 70's

Regards

John Harley

Thanks for the comments John. I need to upload the info to the website. Organ was dedicated the end of October. We are negotiating with an artist for the first formal recording. Our Website is www.parkeyorgans.com. The specification is there. The organ will be featured in January edition of The American Organist and the Diapason.
