Owen, thanks for the pictures. I obviously missed the chance to see the longest Packard motorcade, Germany ever saw.

Michael, thanks for the addition. Vienna was even parted in five sectors, for ten years the center of the town has been a so-called interallied territory. To drive trough the town one needed a total of 11 permission stamps. Please take a look at an interallied patrol [source: www.aeiou.at].
 After extensive search I found a photograph, showing a Soviet High Commissioner of Allied Control Council in Vienna chauffeured in a ZIS. Attach file:  (22.39 KB)
