Given that the car production starts 1897 with some few electric carriages built by Earl C Anthony, how could they just a couple of years later erect such a giant of plant, considered the most modern automobile manufacturing facility in the world and open it in 1903? Please don't confound the very first years with later periods. Even when the production in the new plant had been started all Packards were equipped with single-cylinder engines.
