I bought a $100 recommend tool from Ridgid. I was having a lot of problems because the tubing kept slipping. Bittingthe fixture in a vise to help prevent the tube from slipping solved all my problems. This tool was nicer than the cheap ones, but I believe the cheap ones would have worked if I had put it in a vise also.

Also I was working with 1/4" and larger lines. Smaller lines which would be brake line sizes did not slip. I was bending and flaring gas lines.

I used this bender with great success.

I have used that tool from Harbor Freight before, it was tricky to use but I only needed a few done so I went with this tool since it was much cheaper that the other at Sears
