Back on track after the spam attack, it's and to Andrew Armitage, for including his '47 Custom Super Clipper Eight Limousine in the Packard Owner's Registry.

I just picked up my "new" '47 Packard Custom Clipper Super Eight Limousine. It's in pretty decent condition. I don't think a whole lot has been done to it. It looks to be a fairly original untouched car. Paint and interior look to be original although the front seat looks like it was redone because it's just too nice. I purchased it through a dealer that specializes in classic cars in St Louis so I don't know of the history of the car. It was originally delivered to St Louis through Berry Motor Co but was most recently in Atlanta before this dealer purchased it. I know that the community is fairly small so if anyone knows of a car like mine that was in Atlanta and can fill me in, please let me know.

I'm going to start going through the car mechanically to ensure it's ready for some driving. I don't have any plans for a complete restoration right now, I'm just looking to work out the bugs. I'm new to Packards so I'm probably going to be on the forum looking for advice on a regular basis.

It's nice to see a resource like this out there. I hope to be part of the active Packard community shortly too!

After accessing your Registry entry scroll down to the bottom. There you'll find a Make Changes field and click on that. Then do your changes including, if you want, changing the pic. Lastly, and importantly, scroll to the bottom again and clock on the Save Changes button
